Evolution Gaming’s Deal or No Deal Live Casino Game
Top live casino streamer Evolution Gaming has come up with an exclusive live version of the game show. In cooperation with Endemol (the production team behind Channel 4’s hit show), the live casino version of this game lets you play your way through a set of choices that could see you winning up to 500 times your bet.
How Does Deal or No Deal Work?
Deal or No Deal live works similar to the game show version. After placing an initial bet, you move through several rounds until the final opening, where you can win the main prize of 100 times your bet! You can multiply this prize on the Top-up Wheel for a prize up to 500 times your bet.
Before you can enter the game, you need to play a qualification round. Spin the three-ring bank vault door and align the gold segments at the top of the wheel. This will give you access to the game show.
You can increase your chances of getting in by buying one or two of the rings, by choosing ‘Easy’ or ‘Very Easy’. This will align the gold segments on the rings you bought. Buying these automatically increases your bet, by three times or nine times respectively.
Since it is a live game show, you must place your bets and buy your rings before the countdown timer reaches zero. If you are not in time, you will be offered a place in the next round.
- You can spin the wheel as often as you like before the timer reaches zero.
- Each spin will cost you your selected bet amount.
- Since the game works with multipliers (75x-500x), the more you bet, the bigger your potential prize.
You can now choose any one of the briefcases you believe will be the biggest prize. Click on the selected briefcase on the right or left-hand side of the game window. Choose as often as you like before the round ends.
The Top-up Wheel
Once you have qualified, you will see the Top-up Wheel. This will give you the option to win 5x to 50x the money in your selected briefcase. Select your top-up amount and spin the wheel. Once again, you can spin as often as you like before the counter reaches zero. Each of your spins will cost you your selected bet amount.
The Main Game
You are now ready to participate in the main game show. You will see your briefcase and 15 others on the table. The show host will begin presenting and you will see a hotline to the banker.
The briefcases are numbered 1 to 16 and are distributed randomly across the studio. On the left and right of the screen, you will see the multipliers which they contain.
During the course of the show, the assistant host will open the briefcases one by one, revealing the multipliers inside. Once a briefcase is open, it will no longer participate in the game show.
The prizes in each briefcase are:
In the first opening, the assistant will randomly open three of the briefcases. The banker will then make a Deal or No Deal offer, which you are free to accept or reject. If you choose “Deal”, you will get the amount displayed. If you choose “No Deal”, you continue playing. Again, you must choose within the time limit. If you do not choose before the counter reaches zero, it will be an automatic “No Deal”.
The second opening sees four more boxes opened. Again, the banker will make an offer, and you can choose “Deal” or “No Deal”.
The third opening sees four more boxes opened. Again, the banker will make an offer, and you can choose “Deal” or “No Deal”.
Fourth Opening and Final Offer
The fourth opening sees three more boxes opened. This leaves only your briefcase and one other. The banker will now give you three choices: ‘Deal’, ‘Switch Briefcases’ or ‘No Deal’.
- “Deal” means you accept your prize and the game is over.
- Switching briefcases means you will play the final offer with the other unopened briefcase.
- “No Deal” means you will keep your briefcase and win what is inside in the next round.
The Final Opening
Here, the assistant will open the last two briefcases. You will win whatever is inside your selected briefcase. A message will display your winnings and you will return to the qualification round!
Return to Player Percentage (RTP)
Deal or No Deal Live has an average return to player percentage of 95.42%. This is the expected return based on how much players win in prize money versus how much the casino gets to keep. If the casino takes £1000 of wagers, they will pay out an average of £954.20 in prize money.
Live Deal or No Deal – The Big Draw
Playtech has also recently launched a live version of the game, with Live Deal or No Deal – The Big Draw. While the format has several similarities, Playtech’s version involves buying balls on a bingo machine in order to reduce the number of briefcases. You can buy as many bingo tickets as you want in order to qualify for the main round.
Once the main round starts, you need to choose between 16 different briefcases, which will open over the course of several rounds, similar to NetEnt’s version. Choose “Deal” or “No Deal” and win prizes up to 20x your bet. If you want to boost your potential prize, you can, by increasing your wager, which will also increase your multiplier.
Additionally, you can place sidebets on an added 3×3 bingo card. Getting all 6 lines correct will give you a prize of 1000 x.
Deal or No Deal Slots
While Deal or No Deal makes an excellent gameshow for the live casino, many casinos also offer a slots version. Several slots developers have produced an excellent game. The Deal or No Deal briefcases full of cash usually appear as part of a bonus round, which you can win by landing scatters or wilds in the base game.
Deal or No Deal The Banker's Riches is a slot developed by Endemol, the same production company behind the popular TV show. In fact, they have the best casino games based on many other popular TV shows, such as Big Brother or Cash Drop.
The game has 20 paylines, five reels and several bonus rounds. Best of all is the progressive jackpot of course, which can be worth over £250,000. The game logo is the wild symbol and the banker’s telephone is the scatter. The game comes with a Jackpot Bonus game, and the banker can award you the briefcase with the jackpot at any point.
The game also comes with two extra bonus rounds. In the Reel Banker bonus round, you get continuous prizes until the Banker symbol lands on reel 3. In the Banker's Best Offer feature, you can choose between 10 different multipliers.
Software developer Blueprint Gaming has an excellent slots version of this game as well. Deal or No Deal Lightning Spins starts out as a slots game with 5 reels and 3 rows. Landing 3 bonus scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 will open the bonus round. Here, you can choose between various briefcases containing free spins, cash prizes, and more.
The game is called Lightning Spins because of its Lightning Spins bonus rounds. These let you win one of four jackpots: Mini, Major and Mega or a Progressive Jackpot. Win the progressive prize, or up to 5,000 times your bet!
Deal or No Deal MegaWays
Blueprint Gaming also has a Megaways version of the slot. This slot works with win ways instead of paylines. Land identical symbols on the reels starting from left to right. That means you can have up to 117,649 ways to win per spin. The game has 6 reels, which can hold up to 7 symbols each. The more symbols in your winning combo, the higher the prize.
Just like other versions of the game, the Megaways version also comes with huge win potential. If you get 3 or more win cascades in a row, you will get the Deal or No Deal Bonus, where you can choose from one of three available bonus levels.
In the Banker’s Bonus free spins, you get a set of free spins with a Megaways add-on. You will also get an active Mystery symbol and you can get additional free spins during the round.
Land 5 or more jackpot crowns and you get access to the Jackpot Respins and Jackpot Kings Bonus. For the Jackpot Respins, the triggering symbols will lock in place, while you get respins with only blanks and crowns on the remaining reels. Collect 15 crowns and enter the Jackpot Kings Bonus, where you play The Deal or No Deal game for huge multipliers or a progressive jackpot!
Deal or No Deal Slingo
Slingo has its own version of the game, where you can win a top jackpot prize of £100,000. The game combines aspects of bingo and slots with the Deal or No Deal game show. Choose the correct boxes and mark numbers off the grid as you work your way towards the bankers offer. The jackpot prize of £100,000 comes every time you play, so it is well worth your time!
Deal or No Deal Gaming1
Belgium’s Gaming1 also has a version of the slot. The slot is a rather standard slot game with 10 paylines, over 5 reels with 3 rows. The base game lets you win up to £500, if you land 3 banker symbols on a payline.
However, the real wins come if you land 3 wild symbols. This will trigger the bonus game, where you can make a pick between 26 briefcases, each with their own prize. Just like the game show, the banker will offer you “Deal” or “No Deal” as the game rounds progress.
The game also features two bonus rounds: the Player’s Choice, where you can choose from 3 briefcases for an instant prize, and the Banker’s Offer, where you will see 5 consecutive briefcases, each with a multiplier between 2x and 20x your stake.
The Deal or no Deal Casino game works in a similar way to the game show. First, you play a qualifying round in order to get access. Once you are in the game, you play for multipliers, which are hidden in briefcases. At the end of each round, you can choose between “Deal” or no “Deal”. The game lets you win up to 500 times your bet.
There is no perfect strategy to win deal or no deal. Essentially, it comes down to guesswork. Each time the banker offers, you can choose between “Deal” or “No Deal”. If you believe the banker has made you a better offer than what is in your box, you should choose “Deal”. Otherwise, you can gamble and choose “No Deal”.
The UK gameshow was broadcast on Channel 4 between 2003 and 2016, with host Noel Edmonds. The live casino game has similar rules, however, you must first qualify to play the round by playing a slot machine or bingo game. Once you qualify, you play for multipliers, which will multiply your initial bet. The slot machine uses the game show as a bonus round, where you can win a progressive jackpot.
In most cases yes. However, you should be careful as live games often qualify less than slots for completing wagering terms. Many casinos offer specific live casino bonuses, which are ideal for this type of game.
