So which is right? Probably both, and the gap between them is the most useful thing on this page.

But Trustpilot attracts people with a problem. Somebody whose withdrawal cleared in twenty minutes rarely writes a review about it. AskGamblers’ player scores come from a gambling-specific community that’s used to crypto casino norms, and its expert rating weighs the product rather than the complaint volume.

So the number that cuts through both is this: AskGamblers has resolved 24 of 24 complaints filed against Vave, averaging $1,091 each, with an average resolution of seven days and a two-day response time. A casino that ignores complaints doesn’t post a 24 out of 24 record. That’s the strongest single argument in Vave’s favour, and it’s verifiable.

What it doesn’t tell you is how long you’d wait without a mediator. Several of those resolved complaints describe withdrawals held for 80 hours or more before AskGamblers got involved.

Our read is that Vave pays, but not always quickly, and the experience gets worse the more you win. Deposit money you can afford to leave sitting for a few days.

License

Vave holds a Curacao Gaming Authority licence, number GLH-OCCHKTW0702282021. Older reviews of this casino still reference a 365/JAZ licence under TechOptions Group B.V., which was the previous Antillephone framework and no longer applies.

One thing worth noting: Vave doesn’t publish an operating company name alongside the licence on its site. Most offshore casinos name the B.V. that holds the permit, and Vave doesn’t, which is thinner disclosure than we’d like to see.

And a Curacao licence is a real licence, though it isn’t a UKGC one. For UK players that means:

• No UKGC complaints route. If a payout is held, you deal with Vave and its Curacao regulator rather than the Gambling Commission
• No approved ADR body. AskGamblers effectively fills that role here, which is why its 24 out of 24 record matters

Responsible gambling tools are the weakest part of the site. There are no deposit limits, no time-outs and no session reminders you can set yourself. Now the part that needs saying plainly. Vave doesn’t publish a wagering requirement in its bonus terms. I read all ten conditions attached to the welcome offer. Point 5 says the bonus arrives in instalments “depending on the wager done” and points you to an info tab on the bonus card. Point 9 says the bonus counts as wagered “once the requirements set by the operator are fulfilled”, which tells you nothing at all.

Third-party sites list Vave’s standard wagering at 40x, and its Thursday Reload carries a published 40x elsewhere, so that’s the likely figure. But we’re not going to state a number Vave itself doesn’t show you before you claim. Check the info tab on the bonus card and screenshot it before depositing. That’s not a criticism of the offer size, it’s a criticism of the disclosure.
