Before that it was a Novomatic company, held through Greentube, and that is the description still sitting on most pages about this provider, including the version of this one we are replacing. If a Stakelogic write-up tells you the company belongs to Novomatic, it was written before spring 2025 and has not been revisited since.
It is older than usually stated, too. Sega Sammy's own filing gives the establishment date as 15 August 2013, not the 2015 that circulates widely. The company is based at Dr Holtroplaan 9 in Eindhoven, in the Netherlands, and reported consolidated net sales of EUR 28.958 million for its 2023 financial year.
Why any of this matters to a player. Ownership decides who answers when something goes wrong with a game, which regulators the supplier answers to, and how likely the studio is to still be shipping content in three years.
