The Sportsman Casino is a quality casino with great gaming and an exceptional restaurant. The gaming floor includes 17 tables with American Roulette, Blackjack, Punto Banco, Three Card Poker and Pai Gow. While there are no poker cash games, there are lots of machines for electronic roulette and popular slots with sizable jackpots.
The restaurant at the Sportsman is one of the West End’s hidden gems. It offers a delicious menu with traditional dishes, international cuisines and daily specials. The casino has two bars with an extensive wine and cocktails list and bar menu.

The restaurant at the Sportsman is called Zaman’s, and it’s one of the casino’s main attractions. In fact, just visiting the restaurant for dinner is worth your trip to the casino. The a-la-carte menu includes traditional favorites and dishes with an international flare. On the menu, you’ll find fresh sea bass, Wagyu sirloin beef, Malaysian style egg noodles as well as vegetarian options. The menu includes chef’s specials and seasonal choices. The restaurant is open until 1am daily. Reservations are recommended. The casino also has two bars: the restaurant bar and the casino bar. The restaurant bar is located in Zaman’s and is open daily from noon to 5am. This is a great place to grab a drink if you need an escape from the gaming floor. The casino bar is closer to the action and overlooks the gaming floor. Both bars offer a great menu with lots of cocktails, beer and wine selections. There are also late-night snack options available until 2:30am.
The Sportsman offers several packages and promotions that combine gaming and dining. For £35 per person, you can get a three-course dinner, a glass of Prosecco and £5 in gaming chip. For £55 per person, the package comes with a three-course premium dinner, a glass of Prosecco and £10 gaming chip. Learn to Play packages are also available to purchase at starting price of £20 per person.
On the last Wednesday of each month, the Sportsman hosts the VIP Slots Club Party. This is an invite-only event. Guests enjoy drinks, a two-course meal and a £50 gaming voucher. Everyone is also entered into a draw for £1000.
Members can earn VIP benefits through the casino’s rewards program, which is called Monogram. Benefits include free hotel stays, special events and gaming promotions. When you play, eat or drink at the casino, you can earn points and special promotions. Registration is free and easy.
The Sportsman has an open door policy. Entry into the casino is free. You must be over for 18 years old to enter and may be asked to present a photo ID if you look under 21. Although membership is not required to enter, it is quite easy to register and unlocks access to the casino’s rewards programme. The dress code at the Sportsman is smart. The casino calls it “neat and tidy casual”. Men are not required to wear jackets. Sportswear and caps are definitely not permitted in the club. However, nice jeans and trainers are allowed here.
