The Hippodrome Casino is one of the UK’s largest and most popular casinos. Located in the Leicester Square area, this lively dining and entertainment spot has drawn millions of visitors and continues to raise the stakes in London’s entertainment scene since opening in July 2012.
The four-floor venue offers a wide range of gaming and entertainment options. The gaming floor has over 45 casino tables, 100 electronic games and a dedicated poker room with daily tournaments and cash games. There are a total of six bars and lounges as well as an outdoor smoking terrace. The popular steakhouse restaurant serves prime steaks and other traditional dishes. The casino is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except on Christmas day.
The Hippodrome Casino offers a world-class gaming experience. The facility has over 45 traditional casino tables including Roulette, Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Dice, Pai Gow, Baccarat, Casino War, as well as over 100 electronic games and slots. The gaming floor is split over three floors with distinct gaming options on each. There are also gaming tables on the two tier smoking terrace.
There are tons of electronic games at the Hippodrome Casino. The over 100 slots and electronic machines include 6 IGT GL20 Slots, 10 Dominator slots and 97 Novomatic Roulette machines with all of the top games including Live Roulette Dealer and Electronic Wheel games. Named the “”Best Steak Restaurant in London”” by Bookatable, the Heliot Steak House is open from 5pm during the week and from noon on Saturday & Sunday. The restaurant overlooks the main casino gaming floor and offers a selection of USDA prime steaks as well as other non-steak entrees. Heliot Steak House has several menus for different meals and occasions including a 24-hour menu, brunch menu, pre-theatre menu and theatre menu.
There are six cocktail bars located throughout the Hippodrome Casino. The casino’s bars are open late and one bar offers 24-hour service. From Thursday to Saturday, the Heliot Cocktail Bar has a DJ playing from 8pm. The casino also includes a two-tier smoking terrace. All bar and lounge locations can be booked for private gatherings.
In addition to gaming, the Hippodrome Casino offers several other entertainment options. The casino is a popular venue for watching live sports on the many television screens throughout the building. There is also a 180-seat theatre that draws local and world class entertainment talent. Hippodrome Live hosts a range of jazz, soul, swing, musical theatre, comedy burlesque and cabaret performances throughout the week. The Hippodrome Casino is available for private events such as launches, weddings, conferences, events and private parties. It is the only casino in London with an official wedding licence.
There are a good deal of gaming and dining promotions at the Hippodrome. Heliot Steak House has several exciting promotions including a butchery masterclass and 3 course steak dinner package and 50% off the wine list every Sunday. Gaming promotions include monthly cash races and raffles.
The Hippodrome Rewards card allows customers to collect points when they visit the casino. These points can be used for gaming, gifts, discounts and other great benefits. Membership starts with a Gold card and can be upgraded for additional benefits.
Membership is not required to enter the Hippodrome Casino. Photographic ID is required for wagers more than £1500 and those who appear under 21 years of age. The Hippodrome Casino has no formal dress code. The casino only requires that dress is acceptable and unlikely to offend other customers
