The Casino at the Empire can get busy, but with a gaming floor split over two floors, the atmosphere is always lively and exciting. As well as a great poker schedule, there is also a monthly invite only tournament run by the casino for the top 63 players who have play the most tournament the previous month which offers a guaranteed prize pool of £25,000
Empire Casino has only one restaurant, FuLuShou, which is very popular with visitors. The restaurant serves authentic pan-Asian cuisine including lobster specials and classic dishes such as stir fried beef and wok style prawns. FuLuShou also offers a set menu and serves a variety of Chinese teas. It is open every day from 6pm. Last orders are taken at 1:15am.
There are several bars at Empire Casino, which serve wine, beer and premium cocktails as well as snack foods. Carlsberg Sports Bar is the most lively and casual of the casino’s bars. It is the perfect place to watch sports or grab a burger, salad or sandwich.
For a more elegant atmosphere, visit Icon Balcony Bar. With a balcony overlooking Leicester Square, this is the best option for a special occasion or romantic evening. There is also Vapor, a cocktail bar located in the center of the gaming floor. Vapor is open 10am to 5am Monday to Saturday, and 12noon to 5am on Sundays.
The Casino at the Empire is more focused on gaming than other entertainment options, but they do run various events and promotions throughout the year. Every Saturday night from 9pm until 3am, there is a live DJ playing in the casino. Each month the casino hosts parties for sporting events and offers various promotions and prizes.
There are a number of promotions specifically for poker players. You can get a free breakfast at the Empire if you play at one of the cash game tables at 7.30am. Other promotions allow guests to earn points and chips for playing at certain times or winning certain hands.
Empire’s package options are more extensive than most casinos. In addition to the standard choices, there are also some more interesting ones. The Cocktail Masterclass Package allows visitors to learn how to make the perfect cocktail in a 90-minute class. The Iconic Package includes a 30-minute poker session, four sliders, a free bet, and Monte Cristo cigar to enjoy on the VIP terrace.
If you prefer poker, there are poker package options that are great for large groups. The Royal Flush package includes a burger and a drink, private table and poker dealer, 2-hour poker tournament and £5 free bet. There is also a Corporate Package for up to 10 players.
VIP members have access to the Dragon Lounge, a club located within the Empire Casino that offers an exceptional gaming experience for VIP customers. The lounge is open exclusively to Monogram, Monogram Diamond, and Elite cardholders. It is a high stakes gaming area with its own private entrance, deluxe tables and dining services.
The dress code is casual. Gentlemen are not required to wear jackets; trainers and jeans are allowed. Entry to the casino is free. ID is required if you look 21 or under or if you undertake a cash transactions of £1,500 or more.
