We’ve got to admit — from the get go, Thor 10K Ways does get you all hyped up for the actual gameplay.
If we take a look at the game providers, ReelPlay, it’s easy to see that their game portfolio focuses heavily on their 10K slot variants & ReelPlay Megaways™. Previously, they already had their Shamrock Money Pot 10K Ways slots, which is quite comparable to Thor 10K Ways with regards to gameplay.
The success of that slot led to this follow-up, and it does seem like ReelPlay are on to a good thing. Moreover, we can feel a distinct improvement in the overall product, with overall better production values, a pumping soundtrack, and really good graphics.

Bonus Respins
The Thor 10K Ways bonus feature is unlocked when six or more hammer symbols appear on the reels. In that case, three respins are awarded, but the hammer symbols stay locked in their spot. When a new Hammer icon lands, the number of respins is automatically reset to three. When no more respins remain or all slots are taken up by the hammer symbol, the round ends. The value of all hammer icons is then awarded, which can lead to the title 10K bonus prize of 10,000x your bet.
Near-Miss Bonus
The game also features a Near-Miss Bonus, which is triggered when only five hammer symbols appear on the reels. Each of such symbols awards a prize or even a bonus. You can get the Mini or Minor bonus, but with a little bit of luck you could hit the Major, Grand, or even the 10K bonus.
Cascading Symbols
All symbols on Thor 10K Ways have a cascading functionality. This means that whenever there is a combination of symbols that lead to a prize, the symbols disappear and new ones appear. This potentially offers a whole streak of winnings, every time increasing to higher wins. All symbols will be replaced by the cascading feature, except for the hammer symbols, which instead can lead to the Bonus Respins feature mentioned above.
To Spin or Not To Spin?
Let’s start with where Thor 10K Ways can do better: compared to other slots on the market, Thor 10K Ways doesn’t really stand out, despite its promising name and the cascading feature. In reality, the features aren’t sophisticated enough — or at least on paper, that’s what we think when we look at it.
But we can’t deny that as soon as we started playing, we were taken in by the positive vibes of this slot. There’s certainly room for improvement with ReelPlay’s next offering, and our advice is to focus on better features.
