Reel Keeper Power Reels™ has several conventional slot game features that have been applied in an innovative way.
The first and most impressive feature here is the Wild! This symbol-substituting icon is represented by the Reel Keeper — the golden dragon, which also pays out on its own as the highest-value symbol. At random, the golden dragon Reel Keeper flies over the grid and performs one of the two following actions:
- Drop a 1×6-sized Stacked wild symbol on the outer-right reel.
- Move Wilds visible on the grid one reel to the left. Wild symbols that reach the outer-left reel disappear on the following spin. Adjacent Wilds that reach the left outer reel will all disappear at the beginning of the following round.
Then there are also the free spins — you are awarded 10 of them when at least three Scatter symbols appear in the triggering round. Any Wilds that have landed in the triggering round are carried over to free spins mode, where the Reel Keeper dragon can randomly drop Wild symbols on any reel except for reels 1 and 2.
When moving Wilds have reached the outer-left reel, they remain locked for the next spin. The same happens to Wilds that have reached the locked Wild symbol.
Wild symbols that have not reached the leftmost reel or have been locked are carried over to the base game after the last free spins round. You can't reactivate free spins.
To Spin or Not To Spin?
Reel Keeper Power Reels™ is a well-designed slot with beautiful graphics and animations, as well as an exciting Wild feature.
On paper it seems an engaging, boosted edition of the original Reel Keeper slot. However, the relatively low RTP and especially the incredibly low maximum stake can't fulfil the hype of the maximum win of a staggering 16,000x your stake. This makes the title not particularly appealing to both high rollers or low-risk players.
