Located in the historic Great Northern Warehouse, Manchester 235 has been described as one of the finest casinos Manchester has to offer. The James Martin Manchester restaurant is one of the highlights of any visit to the Manchester 235 Casino. According to the Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants, in which the restaurant won a place in in 2015, it’s “a hidden gem in Manchester’s dining scene”. The menu features an a’la carte menu with plenty of fresh, local produce and a varied menu with dishes ranging from steaks and fish to tasty desserts.
The main bar is tastefully decorated and serves a range of drinks throughout the day and night, including wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and cocktails. There’s regular entertainment and live events, with everything from late night DJ’s and live music to cocktail masterclasses. In addition, the casino has a VIP bar called Icon which can be hired for private events and offers a luxury experience, which can also be taliored to include gaming sessions.
For summer 2018, the casino has also opened a pop up Carlsberg Sports bar, which is the perfect place to enjoy live sports events including the Premier League, Wimbledon and the World Cup. The bar is the casino’s dedicated sports hub and tables can be reserved in advance for larger groups.

Some of the current offers available to customers are FAB Fridays, which consists of a bottle of Prosecco and 4 bottles of Carlsberg for £9.99, and 2-4-1 cocktails every day from 4pm-8pm. Live music entertainment is provided Thursday to Sunday every week and there is a live DJ set on Friday and Saturday nights.
For both beginners and experienced players, Manchester 235 offers various party packages to make any event or night out as enjoyable as possible. The “Ace It” package, which costs £20 per person, includes a free drink, a two hour private poker session with a dealer or an hour long Play Poker tutorial and a free rake voucher.
Alternatively, there’s the “Ace It In Style” package, which has the same benefits plus pizza and fries to share for £30 per person; or, for £60 per person you can you can enjoy all of the above and add a three course meal at the James Martin Manchester restaurant.
The rewards programme entitles casino members to receive points when taking part in any cash games. These points can be spent on food, drink or gaming at the casino, as well as a selection of merchandise including iPads, fitness products and days out. Customers can collect these points by handing their Total Rewards card to a member of staff before playing. Every 100 rewards credits gives members £1 to spend at any casino in the Caesars group, both in the UK and abroad.
Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to enter the casino and enjoy the ample facilities it has to offer. However, guests who appear to be under 21, or who are spending the equivalent of more than 2000 euros will be required to show photo identification. Suitable forms of ID include a passport, photocard driving licence or a National Identity Card (for non UK nationals).
