In the base game, the action takes place on six reels, with each one accommodating between two and seven symbols. There is also an additional row on the screen between reels 2 and 5. This creates four extra spaces where symbols can land horizontally instead of the typical vertical format.
God Modifiers
The Norse Gods Freya, Loki, Thor, and Odin are Wild Modifiers in the game and they only appear in the horizontal reel. If you are lucky to land any of these symbols, you are awarded the following bonuses:
- Freya: When she appears, she will transform two, three, or four symbols of reels 2-4 into Wilds. This increases your chances of hitting a winning combination.
- Loki: If this mischievous god appears on the horizontal reel, he will transform two, three, or four random symbols on reels 1-4 into a symbol from reel 1. If Loki selects a particularly high-paying symbol, you could be in for a huge win!
- Thor: As one of the most powerful Norse god, Thor does not disappoint when he appears during gameplay. He will transform three or four symbols on reels 1-3 into the highest-paying symbol.
- Odin: The last god in Iron Dog’s slot comes with Multipliers, which helps increase your wins. When Odin appears, he will add two Multiplier Wilds to reels 2 and 3. If he appears during the base game, these Multiplier Wilds will have a fixed x2 multiplier, but during the free spins, the multiplier increases with every subsequent spin for the duration of the feature.
